Head Coach

Dick Jauron

Notes:

DA Coach:  Coach Jauron is growing on me more each week.  His laid back approach is

appealing.  I also just think he knows a lot about football.  I disagree with a few things but

overall he is doing better than I thought he would.

Kick in A#%:  There's nothing more frustrating than kickers.  Once again the Bears kicker

lost another game for us.  To top it off my high school lost this weekend in the Illinois state

playoffs because, that's right, a kicker missed a field goal at the end of the game.  Whoever

implemented kicking into the game of football deserves to be shot.  Leaving a game's fate in

the toe of a 150 pound kicker is not what football should be about.  I don't know, maybe I'm

just a little bitter.

Injuries:  Curtis Conway missed another game with a sprained ankle.  It must be the worst

sprain in the history of sprains.  I think I need to introduce him to my high school coach.  If

the bone wasn't sticking out of your leg, you played.  It would be nice if maybe a couple

pro athletes followed that rule.  I don't see it happening anytime soon though.
