I'd love to say the Sox will contend next year but I just don't see it happening.  They have a ton of young talent.  I'd love to see them get rid of some of it and get some good veteran pitching but I think I have a better chance of seeing Iowa win a football game.  They have to do something with Frank Thomas though.  He has absolutely killed them the last 2 seasons.  He was a complete lock for the Hall of Fame 2 years ago but now I don't know.  Finally, a little kick in the pants for all the Sox fans out there.  I know there are  plenty of you. Start going to the games.  The stadium is not that bad.  There are 26000 seats in the lower level if you don't want to sit in the upper-deck.  I know the neighborhood is no Wrigleyville but are you going to watch a game or get drunk.  If you want to do the latter go to a Cubs game but if you want to see the best baseball in Chicago go to the South Side, stop being a baby, and cheer on the Sox.  No major player is going to want to come to play for a team that averages 12000 fans a night.  Get with it Sox fans!!  Till next time, I'm out.
